The Author
Like many, I was raised up in church my entire life. At the age of 12, God spoke to me and told me to preach. In 2009, I went to a very popular internship/bible academy. I thought it would prepare me for ministry, but instead they taught me that God was angry at me and I needed to earn God’s forgiveness. As I look back, I was filled with a lot of condemnation because of it. What I went to gain from that academy to prepare me to preach ,was not gained there but came as a result of going there. I obtained what I needed after I left. It was then that God began to reveal my purpose for going and my purpose for preaching the gospel. It was then that God revealed to me a greater meaning of the truth of Grace.
At that academy I had been expected to read the bible 5 chapters a day and basically a total of 3 hours a day of reading books. I was conditioned to reading. On the day I left, they took the books I was reading, away from me, leaving me sorta empty. I felt I needed some new books to read. I stopped by a Christian book store, and I was browsing through thousands of books when my mom miraculously picked up, “Destined to Reign” by Joseph Prince. We bought it, and as I read it, I had a crucial encounter with God’s grace message. As I read page by page, my guilt and shame began to leave! In those pages, my life radically changed from being self-centered into being Christ centered. I had never completely finished a book until then, but now I read books by the week. And on March, 4th, 2012, I founded couragewithgrace.com to share the message that was shown to me.
God has given me a great understanding of the importance of rightly dividing the Old and New Covenants, and He has shown me the peace and freedom we can gain from this knowledge. He has given me a great understanding of Grace and how truly blessed we are by what Jesus has done and how deceived we have been by the enemy and how the truth of grace will truly set us free. I am currently studying speech at a local Junior College, obtaining my associates degree. I am also taking online courses at Oral Roberts University and Charis Bible College and serving at my local church in Texas.
